Jeffery Dean Morgan, who ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ fans will remember as Denny Duquet, plays FBI Agent Joe Merriweather, and Abby Cornish is his partner, Katherine.

They have no leads in the case of a serial killer who seems to kill his victims as painlessly as possible. Together, they approach Anthony Hopkins who is a reclusive psychic, whose daughter died of cancer a few years before, hoping for some insight.

Colin Farrell is the psychic serial killer who leads them on a wild goose chase, leaving cryptic notes at the crime scenes but sadly, the characters are not terribly engaging and the trailer makes it look much better than it is.

Unfortunately, Solace is a psychological thriller that fails to thrill.
