Ben Kingsley plays Damian Hale, a Manhattan property tycoon who is dying of cancer. He consults a doctor (Matthew Goode) who performs a pricey and secretive process called “shedding” where essentially, your brain is transferred to a fresh body… In this case, that of Ryan Reynolds.
But, things are not as they seem and Damian begins to suffer from hallucinations which send him on a trip to investigate the foreign memories in his head, resulting in a suspenseful cat & mouse chase.
Whilst the story is well thought out, the twists are often predictable and the film lacks that blockbuster quality. It gets a 6/10.
