Michael Fassbender is Macbeth and Marion Cottilard is a great Lady Macbeth in this dull adaptation of William Shakespeare’s well-known tragedy about the Thane of Glamis who was blinded by greed and ambition and killed his king because of a prophecy by three cryptic witches.

Unless you absolutely LOVE Shakespeare, and/or have a strong desire to go through this very dark, rather depressing story, give it a big skip!!
