“Before We Go” is a “Before Sunrise” (1995) set in New York City. Chris Evans and Alice Eve meet in Grand Central Station after her purse is stolen and she misses her train.
The film was actually directed by Chris Evans, believe it or not, and as sweet as his character is, Alice Eve’s forced distrust and vulnerability didn’t play well, and the movie is actually a bit of a snooze.
Also, I think the concept of the “let’s stay up all night in a vibrant city going to bars and parties and ultimately spilling our secrets to each other in a hotel room” film has been done.
It certainly doesn’t require large-screen viewing. Wait for Box Office or the Sunday Night movie…
